Overview:
Tiffany & Co. is seeking a Loss Prevention Supervisor to support the Security Management team by leading, developing, and supporting security team members. The role aims to protect employees, clients, and assets while enhancing the Tiffany store experience.
Responsibilities:
Security:
- Ensure adherence to Global Protection Standards.
- Lead and motivate the security team to focus on key security aspects such as MPS, door coverage, employee awareness training, and safety.
- Collaborate with Operations and Security Management to identify opportunities for reducing shrinkage.
- Optimize security schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours, events, overnight, and for facility support.
- Support emergency preparedness and incident management efforts, including serving as the point person during emergencies.
Physical Security:
- Work closely with the Security Manager to ensure all physical security systems and equipment are functioning properly.
- Maintain and repair physical security systems, including CCTV, alarms, radios, locks, keys, and perimeter doors/gates.
- Conduct vulnerability evaluations and other tasks as directed by Security Management.
Sales and Service Excellence:
- Build strong relationships with clients to drive loyalty and increase overall spend.
- Manage the security team to act as Tiffany luxury security professionals with a customer-centric approach.
- Partner with store management to lead store initiatives that provide an elevated client experience.
- Coach staff to enhance customer experience by acknowledging clients upon entry and exit, and providing consistent and gracious greetings.
- Maintain a professional and calm demeanor when dealing with clients and employees, regardless of the situation.
Qualifications:
- Valid Security License.
- High School Diploma.
- Ability to work retail store hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Highest level of integrity.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in computer skills.
- Sense of urgency to quickly identify problems and take appropriate action.
- Ability to approach people and problems in a manner that fosters cooperation and participation toward common goals.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with geographically remote individuals.
