Job Description

My client, a contemporary and forward-thinking professional services firm are seeking an experienced Facilities Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who thrives in a varied and fast-paced environment, and who enjoys taking on responsibilities and working within a team environment.

Key duties of the Facilities Assistant will include:

– Providing a proactive and efficient facilities service to the firm, ensuring all facilities are maintained to a high standard and that any maintenance issues are resolved promptly.
– Liaising with external contractors and suppliers, ensuring the best possible service, cost and maintenance levels are always in place.
– Coordinating and overseeing all facilities administration including but not limited to; health and safety, security, and environmental management.
– Managing the staff car park system, including all administration and maintenance of the car park facility.
– Assisting the Facilities Manager with ad-hoc facilities projects and duties as and when required.
– Maintaining the highest levels of customer care and service to all internal and external clients.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar facilities role, with strong facilities coordination skills, a can-do attitude and excellent communication skills. A professional and dedicated approach to the role is essential, as is strong MS Office skills and facilities management systems knowledge.
