Key Responsibilities:
- Lead daily operations of ground improvement projects, ensuring quality, safety, and timely delivery.
- Develop and monitor construction schedules to track project progress.
- Prepare and negotiate contractual agreements, managing revisions and changes effectively.
- Collaborate with subcontractors and vendors to manage schedules and meet project deadlines.
- Maintain job cost, profit, and forecasting estimates, supporting accounting and management functions.
- Act as a client liaison, assisting in business development and ensuring efficient resource deployment.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff and perform field assignments as needed.
- Uphold a strong commitment to Health, Safety & Environment standards.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- University degree or diploma in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.
- Registration with APEGBC or ASTTBC, or eligibility for registration.
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience with geotechnical engineering experience.
- Proficiency in ground improvement techniques, foundations, earth retaining structures, and driven piles.
- Solid experience in contract management, scheduling, and financial aspects of projects.
- Familiarity with obtaining government approvals and trade standards.
- Strong project management, communication, and time management skills.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive base salary ranging from $120,000 to $160,000 per year.
