Job Description:
A well-established logistics company is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Warehouse Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving, inventory management, and staff supervision. The ideal candidate will have previous warehouse management experience, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of meeting and exceeding performance goals. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
– Managing daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and storage
– Supervising and training warehouse staff, including scheduling and performance management
– Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies
– Monitoring inventory levels and conducting regular inventory counts
– Developing and implementing warehouse procedures and best practices to optimize efficiency and accuracy
– Collaborating with other departments to coordinate logistics and ensure timely order fulfillment
– Using warehouse management software to track inventory, shipments, and staffing levels
– Analyzing warehouse performance metrics and identifying areas for improvement
– Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment
– Participating in regular meetings with management to discuss goals, challenges, and opportunities
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, supply chain management, or related field
– 3+ years of experience in warehouse management or a related field
– Strong leadership and communication skills
– Proficiency with warehouse management software and Microsoft Office suite
– Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment
– Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices for warehouse operations
– Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
– Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed
