- Receive training designed to help you succeed

Job Description
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Assistant to join our team at a busy healthcare facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting healthcare providers in administering primary care to patients, including checking vital signs, administering medications, obtaining medical histories, and assisting with routine medical procedures.
Responsibilities:
– Take and record patient vital signs
– Obtain patient medical history
– Assist healthcare providers with medical procedures
– Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
– Prepare examination rooms for patient visits
– Maintain inventory of medical supplies
– Perform clerical duties as needed, such as scheduling appointments and answering phones
– Ensure all patient information is accurately recorded in the electronic health record system
– Adhere to all healthcare facility policies and procedures
Qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent
– Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program
– Current certification as a Medical Assistant
– Previous experience working in a healthcare setting preferred
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
– Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
– Proficient in computer skills and electronic health record systems
– Ability to maintain patient confidentiality
