Job description: Internship Format:In-Person: The format for this internship will be in-person, where the intern will be required to work on-site at the Automotive Research and Design Center in Windsor, Ontario.Internship Overview:
- When: The internship program will run from May 19 – August 8, 2025
- Transportation: Interns are responsible for getting to and from work daily. Stellantis does not provide transportation to interns

Department Details:Battery Workforce Competition Engineering Summer interns will be assigned to a group within Propulsion Systems based on the candidate’s technical background and interests with a focus on electrification. The assignment is project-oriented, meaningful to the department, allows the intern to take responsibility for a major task, and allows the intern to experience a sense of personal accomplishment and contribution.Interns will get to experience corporate business culture and gain the communication and etiquette skills required.They will get to share knowledge gained from recent courses and further develop computer skills and learn new systems and software.FCA Canada Inc. is committed to providing accommodation for people with accessibility needs due to disabilities in all aspects of the hiring process. - Pursuing an associate degree or higher from an accredited college or university
- Able to work 40 hours per week during the internship
- Enrolled in the BWC Program at applicable universities
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
Preferred Qualifications:
- Major in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering at an ABET (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology) accredited program; other Engineering degrees from an ABET accredited university programs (Aerospace/Aeronautical, Agricultural, Biomedical/Biomechanical/Bioengineering, Chemical, Civil, Computer, Computer Science, Materials, Mechatronics, Metallurgical, Software) or related field will be considered if the candidate exhibits the desired characteristics to fill an opening within the intern program
- Completion of freshman year or higher at an accredited university by the spring of 2025
- GPA of 3.0 or higher (based on a 4.0 scale)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications
- Capable of working both independently and as part of a team
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across various organizational levels and with external partners
- Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and achieve goals in a fast-paced environment
- Proven leadership in academic pursuits, extracurricular activities, or service organizations
