Endy is looking for a Marketing Copywriter who can deliver effective messaging that communicates to existing customers and drives new customer acquisition. As our Marketing Copywriter, you will create compelling copy for various channels that is clear and meaningful from ideation to execution. You will craft dynamic copy for our marketing channels that gets people talking and engages our audience.
As the ideal candidate, you’re known for your ability to craft sharp, concise customer acquisition messaging and punchy headlines that inform and entice, while consistently expressing brand personality. You’re naturally inquisitive and work at the intersection of customer needs and business goals, blending both into winning campaigns that build the Endy brand. You’re a self-starter with strong organizational skills, acute attention to detail, and thrive in an atmosphere of rapid development.

An online portfolio or writing samples that demonstrate an understanding of digital and print mediums and writing are required to be considered for this position.

What you’ll do

    • Work with the Brand Growth team to create end-to-end performance-based messaging for all product offers or brand campaigns with the goal of triggering conversions and increasing brand loyalty
    • Develop best-in-class messaging for a variety of touchpoints – including digital ads, email, onsite, OOH, retail packaging, blog, and more
    • Develop a deep understanding of our products and audience to create compelling and creative ways to generate interest
    • Create content for marketing projects, aligning brand voice and brand messaging with the appropriate channel
    • Monitor content on all channels to ensure brand consistency and compliance with editorial standards and content best practices
    • Provide an insightful perspective on communication trends that are current, relevant, and unique
    • Use marketing insights and analytics to track, test, and optimize current content and develop new ideas that drive results
    • Manage English to French Canadian translation process
    • Assist with additional content and copywriting needs as required

Who you are

    • 3+ years of experience in a fast-paced environment developing compelling copy for marketing campaigns
    • Degree in Communications, Journalism, Advertising or other related field
    • Ability to quickly develop an understanding of Endy, our ethos and visual identity, and have good judgment as to what makes good Endy messaging and what doesn’t
    • A thirst for Endy’s competitive communication approach–being on the lookout for ways to highlight our competitive edge
    • Ability to manage ambiguity, work calmly under pressure, solve problems efficiently, proactively manage own time, and meet tight deadlines
    • Self-driven, organized, detail-oriented, and able to quickly turn around creative concepts in an iterative environment
    • Retail and/or e-commerce short-form copywriting experience
    • Proven ability to work cross-team, lead the creation of original concepts, and synthesize feedback and input from stakeholders
    • Strong team player, approachable, and supportive
    • Understand testing and performance data; translate learnings into strategies
    • Strategic thinker who bridges digital and user experiences to create content that drives results
    • Passionate about writing and generating useful content
    • Experienced working for direct to consumer brands with a strong understanding of appropriate and effective messaging for multichannel marketing
    • Fluent English is a must-have, bilingual English/French is an asset

We are currently looking to fill the role of Social Media Coordinator to support our team based in Toronto. We are looking for an individual that can adapt and grow with our business while demonstrating leadership, dedication and hard work.

The Social Media Coordinator will be responsible to build and manage social media programs and campaigns to achieve our long and short-term organizational goals. This individual should have a successful track record of running and evaluating results of social media initiatives. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills and a deep understanding of various marketing concentrations and channels.

Responsibilities

· Complete daily posting, maintenance, and monitoring of West Coast Kids’ social media profiles and presence

· Propose campaigns and strategies to increase lead generation, engagement and conversions

· Contribute to and execute the build on social media strategy

· Creates and leads the social media marketing calendar including monthly content

· Write engaging, original content with a strong brand voice for all social channels

· Generate content & idea creation for social media posts (captions, ideas, images etc.)

· Utilize a posting schedule to ensure consistency on all platforms

· Facilitate online conversations with customers and respond to queries

· Oversee social ad performance on Facebook, Instagram etc.

· Stay up to date with changes in social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness

· Track, measure, and analyze all initiatives to report on social media ROI

· Maintain up to date knowledge of social media trends, algorithms, issues and best practices

· Travel to stores, conferences, and special events is required for social media filming

Requirements:

· Post-Secondary Education in Marketing, Communication, or related field

· 1+ years of Social Media experience

· Must be comfortable with regular on-camera filming for product demonstrations and events

· Strong knowledge of social channels and best practices

· Strong creative background and ability to create content (text, image, and video)

· Knowledge of social post scheduling software (Later, Hootsuite or similar

· Strong ability to work independently and within a team environment

· Strategic thinker with the ability to identify supporting tactics for social media and other marketing strategies

· Strong analytical skills & ability to track metrics proving ROI of social media efforts

· Self-driven and independent performer with strong commitment to deadlines

· Experience with Google Analytics an asset

· Graphic design or video editing skills an asset

· Knowledge of Facebook Ads Manager an asset
