In this role, you will use your skills in data analytics and visualization to turn complex data into informative and actionable insights for our business teams. Reporting to the Head of Business Intelligence, the Business Intelligence Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and deploying dashboards and data sources. The ideal candidate will possess a strong business acumen in Finance, Sales, and Marketing and be able to technically analyze data for business insights.

Working closely with stakeholders across Product, Finance, Sales, and Marketing to integrate data sources and develop dashboards and data sources. You will be instrumental in driving processes and tool improvements to enable data-driven decisions across Nitro.

• Develop and execute analytics roadmap aligned to strategy, including ongoing and new projects as requested and prioritized by leadership.
• You’ll be responsible for the design, build and deployment of BI & analytical solutions to empower business stakeholders to make data-driven decisions.
• You’ll pull data from databases and various operational systems, process the data, develop the best way to visualize and make sense of it.
• Build, develop and maintain dashboards and performance metrics with a robust set of KPIs.
• Implement best practices in data analysis for reproducibility and delivery of high-quality analysis. This includes establishing documentation, peer review and other processes.
• As a subject matter expert, create a data-driven culture by driving data and analytic literacy across Nitro.

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years of experience in business intelligence
• A self-starter that can work autonomously
• Strong business acumen and ability to communicate with both technical developers and business leaders to translate open-ended requirements into a technical development plan
• Experience with data visualization and building easy-to-consume end-user dashboards in Tableau that help craft a story
• Excellent data wrangling skills and knowledge of SQL

• Tableau Qualified Associate Certification
• Experience with Salesforce
• Experience with Snowflake
• Experience with eCommerce analytics including GA4
