Purpose

  • Execute general inspection functions, both visual and dimensional, including correctly and properly using mechanical measuring devices and report results as required
  • Accomplish visual and dimensional mechanical inspection processes, with minimal supervision, to the highest quality department standard while adhering to best safety practices

  • Conduct incoming, in-process and final inspection processes confirming compliance to specifications
  • Determine acceptance or rejection of materials presented for inspection

Purpose

The Inside Sales & Applications / Engineer will provide direct support on customer and sales agent inquires. Including but not limited to pump sizing, costing, major buyout quoting, costing, as part of proposal packaging. Additionally responsible for workload and opportunity tracking through CRM and other tools.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Review requests for quotations and questions received from customers and/or sales representatives related to quote activities as needed
  • Review customer technical specifications and requirements
  • Prepare pricing for selected equipment and source external buy out items
  • Review Commercial Terms and Conditions with input from other company resources
  • Review purchase orders received from customers pursuant to quotations made to confirm accuracy, both technically and commercially
