Senior Director, Growth Marketing

We are looking for an experienced Marketing Leader to join the team! As a critical role on the HRPA leadership team, the Senior Director, Growth Marketing will steer our creative ship, starting with the co-creation of our new marketing and communications strategy. Leading and participating in the execution of the marketing plan, this position will get involved in all aspects of best-in-class marketing and communications, from building performance marketing strategies to creating captivating campaigns and orchestrating social media sensations. This hands-on strategic position will lead a passionate marketing team as we strive to meet (or beat!) our goals. You will develop, execute, and fine-tune KPIs ensuring HRPA succeeds in the realm of conversions and NPS scores.

Responsibilities

  • Lead performance marketing to drive revenue (products, programs, events), increase customers and build sales funnels while analyzing and adjusting to optimize results
  • Track, measure and report on the effectiveness of all digital marketing and communication initiatives
  • Foster team engagement while managing innovative, results-oriented communication strategies which enhance the association’s overall brand profile
  • Provide marketing and communications professional best practices and guidance to all business units to ensure quality, consistency, and brand adherence in all communications
  • Develop and oversee HRPA survey and research strategy

  • Represent HRPA at external and industry events (marketing and PR events)

Requirements

  • University degree preferred, ideally with a focus in Marketing and/or Communications, Journalism or Business. Alternatively, College Diploma with a focus on Marketing and/or Communications coupled with relevant work experience
  • Approximately 10+ years of combined experience in corporate communications, marketing and digital marketing
  • Approximately 5+ years of progressive leadership experience managing a team of marketing professionals
  • Proven track record of managing a performance marketing department or function
  • Proven track record leading marketing and communications strategies, project management and successfully executing them
  • Preferred experience in corporate and/or association communications
  • Experience building a new marketing strategy or involvement in a marketing transformation is an asset
  • Experience implementing new marketing technology and/or tools is an asset
  • Experience with HubSpot and Salesforce is an asset
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present ideas and plans with an evidenced-based approach to obtain buy-in

– Provide assistance to veterinarians and veterinary technicians during examinations and surgical procedures
– Take and develop x-rays
– Administer medications and treatments as directed by the veterinary team
