The Reman Intern will gain insight into the processes and strategies to improve efficiency and quality in our remanufacturing workshop. This position is an 8-month internship role.Responsibilities

  • Quality management and improvement for inventory of core and production components.
  • Lean manufacturing study and Implementation for engine build and test bench process.
  • Development industrial floor plans for disassembly and assembly area to accommodate for new tooling and equipment.
  • Review and improvement on documentation pertaining to ISO 9001:2015 certification.
  • Management and review of bill of materials for production components.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Competencies

  • 1-3 years of experience in mechanical engineering.
  • Must be adaptable.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
