Location: Toronto, Ontario (Hybrid)About the Role:The Talent Account Manager role leads the development and execution of all talent strategy and business development at Corus Entertainment. The role focuses on spearheading multi-platform, talent-driven branded partnerships, delivering new revenue through innovative sales initiatives, talent negotiations, and budget oversight, all while fostering strong relationships with traditional talent and social influencers.You will contribute by:

  • Owning and maintaining strong relationships with Corus network talent across broadcast, social, and digital platforms.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for talent issues, resolutions, and escalations.
  • Assist in Analyzing audience and viewership data to identify, recruit, and secure top-performing talent aligned with client needs.
  • Lead and mentor a team of Social Strategists who support the Talent Management Group.
  • Source new creators outside the Corus ecosystem to expand talent offerings and increase brand partnership opportunities.
  • Upsell integrated talent-driven solutions across Corus’s full portfolio, maximizing campaign value.
  • Lead the strategic roadmap for monetizing talent relationships, including launching new service offerings and pricing models.
  • Partner with Sales and Strategy to align talent with high-growth categories and revenue-driving initiatives.
  • Serve as a liaison between talent and internal departments (Client Marketing, so.da, PR, Marketing, Broadcast, Licensing) to ensure alignment and execution.
  • Innovate on behalf of talent to deepen engagement and drive long-term value for both talent and Corus.
  • Represent Corus externally at industry events, conferences, and social functions to strengthen the company’s presence in the talent ecosystem.
  • Build and maintain a visible market presence to support talent acquisition and brand reputation.
  • Stay informed on emerging trends, platform updates, and talent business models to keep Corus ahead of the curve.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to leadership for evolving the talent strategy based on market dynamics.

Skills and Experience you will bring:

  • 3+ years of talent management experience.
  • 2+ years of customer focused sales professional experience building.
  • Proven experience in the pitch process with business development teams and clients.
  • Strong mediation abilities with experience in negotiating, resolving conflicts, and managing expectations.
  • Knowledge in managing influencer/talent partnerships and assessing social media metrics and industry KPIs.
  • Proven experience is managing and mentoring a team.
  • High organizational skills with a proven track record in task management, handling details, meeting multiple deadlines, following processes and multitasking effectively.
  • Strong communicator, detail, deadline oriented and team player.
  • High comfort level with discussing marketing strategies and analytical social data reports.
  • Process driven strategic thinker. Confident decision maker.
  • In-depth knowledge of all platforms including linear, social & digital.
  • Proven experience producing video content.
  • Creative sensibility and storytelling.
