Title: Registered Nurse

Location: Newmarket, ON

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $32.50-$46.50 per hour

We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in Newmarket, ON. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:
– Provide direct patient care and treatment in accordance with established policies and procedures
– Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
– Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
– Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the medical team
– Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients
– Educate patients and their families about their condition, treatment options, and self-care techniques
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation
– Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols

Qualifications:
– Current registration as a Registered Nurse in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
– Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in a hospital or long-term care setting
– Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
– Proficiency in electronic medical records and other healthcare technology
