Department Overview

TD Securities (TDS) is one of the world’s leading wholesale banks with operations spread across 15 offices globally. It provides a full suite of products and services to corporate and institutional clients through Global Transaction Banking (GTB), Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB), and Global Markets (GM) that collaborate to provide high quality integrated financial solutions.

GTB is a key growth business within TDS that provides the opportunity to make an impact with Corporates, Financial Institutions, and Government clients by providing innovative solutions and treasury advisory services on large and complex liquidity, payment, and trade needs.

Over the last decade, payments and trade have experienced unprecedented levels of innovation, recent technologies & solutions, new entrants, new regulations, and new opportunities/challenges. The business constantly changes. As a result, all GTB’s business lines, namely, Treasury Solutions and Global Trade Finance, constantly evolve to provide optimum trade, liquidity, and payment solutions to clients.

Job Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree and 5+ years of relevant work experience
  • Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal), including ability to formulate impactful messages tailored to the audience

  • Highly detailed with a sense of responsibility

Job Details

TDS has embarked on a multi-year digital transformation and expansion of GTB’s product suite to position the transaction bank as a leading North American multi-currency treasury provider, enabling significant business growth across the TDS franchise. Accordingly, the need for a strong and efficient delivery of a large-scale project to this objective is required.
Product Management is the business function that drives the planning, development, launching, commercialization, and on-going management of a product/service. Reporting to the Vice President, Market Management, the successful candidate could be involved in several cross-GTB initiatives related to vision/strategy, concept/design, launch/commercialization, and marketing.
The successful candidate will:

  • Act as a consolidator including documenting and managing requirements for various initiatives, employing low tech solutions (ex.

, SharePoint, etc.) to ensure effective organization for GTB Product * Assist with drafting of communications for external audiences including pitch materials for clients and prospects, speaker proposals for industry conferences, speaking notes for advisory board meetings

  • Prepare research materials for thought leadership and press releases as appropriate
  • Support the team through research, analytics and data-driven insights (for instance around market segments, revenue pools, etc)
  • Contribute to special projects across the Product Management team as required
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the GTB products and of client needs, competitive landscape, and trends in GTB industry to assist in identifying new opportunities
  • Forge connections across GTB and TDS to provide recommendations on emerging trends and topical advancements for Product to get ahead of
  • Champion an intelligence culture that empowers the organization evaluate client needs, market trends, and competitor movements, that help inform TD’s actions and priorities
