Our team has direct responsibility for, or provides supporting leadership to, all ‘4 Ps’ of the marketing mix-product, price, place, and promotion-to drive our business objectives.With over 80% of newcomers knowing someone in Canada when they arrive, we are leveraging this strong network effect to aggressively expand our portfolio. Our goal is to achieve a tenfold increase within the next year by implementing targeted referral programs, enhancing community engagement, and deploying strategic referral campaigns. We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Loyalty and Referral Marketing Manager to manage and grow this portfolio.In this role, you will develop and manage loyalty and referral programs aimed at engaging and retaining our newcomer and multicultural customer base. Your efforts will help us celebrate cultural diversity and inclusion, ensuring TELUS’s offerings are accessible and appealing to a wide range of customers.This role aims to attract individuals who are not only skilled in loyalty and referral programs but also have a deep understanding and appreciation of cultural diversity and the unique needs of newcomers and multicultural communities in Canada.Broad Responsibilities:
- Program Development: Design and implement loyalty and referral programs that cater to the unique needs of newcomers and multicultural segments
- Market Research: Leverage insights from market research and community feedback to inform program strategies
- Customer Engagement: Develop initiatives that foster strong customer relationships, enhancing engagement and satisfaction
- Campaign Management: Craft and manage unique campaigns that celebrate newcomers, cultural diversity, and inclusion
- Data Analysis: Monitor and analyze program performance, using data to optimize and refine strategies
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of loyalty and referral programs with broader marketing initiatives
Specifically you can expect to
- Lead the development, execution, and optimization of the Refer-a-Friend program to drive customer acquisition
- Monitor program performance, analyze key metrics, and implement strategies to enhance effectiveness
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure program alignment with overall business objectives
- Propose and implement innovative ideas to continuously improve the loyalty program
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
- Proven experience in developing and managing loyalty and referral programs
- Strong understanding of multicultural marketing and the unique needs of diverse customer segments
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills required
