- Implementation leadership: Lead the planning, configuration and seamless integration of TELUS’ new DAM system
- System administration: Ensure peak performance, robust security and efficient user access management of the DAM system
- Asset organization: Develop and refine taxonomy, metadata schema and file-naming conventions for efficient asset management
- User training and support: Provide training and ongoing support to TELUS team members and agency partners on best practices for asset management
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work across internal stakeholder teams to ensure design and rollout meets the diverse needs of all teams
- Process optimization: Identify opportunities to simplify and automate the process for efficient asset distribution
- Technical specialist: Responsible for daily maintenance and usability of the DAM, building the strategic roadmap for continuous improvements, conducting performance analysis, auditing and archiving
QualificationsWhat you bring
- Technical skills: Proficiency in DAM software (e.g., Adobe Experience Manager, Widen, Bynder, Intelligence Bank, Aprimo, etc.), metadata standards and digital file formats
- Project management: Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple project streams and deliverables simultaneously
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders
- Analytical skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail
- Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and collaborate with diverse groups of stakeholders
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing technologies and processes, and a willingness to learn and grow within the role
Required Professional Designation/Certification and Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Information Technology, Library Science, Digital Media, or related field
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years of professional DAM experience in a high-volume environment, with a track record of successful DAM system implementation and administration
- Specific Experience: Fluent with various asset types, implementing DAM efficiencies within business units, taxonomy development, digital asset cataloging, metadata standards strategy, and hands-on experience managing media players and DAMs in media production
Salary Range: $90,000-$134,000Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan: 15%Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as:
