Job description: The Territory Business Manager (TBM) is responsible for managing all aspects of a designated territory, including sales, marketing, and relationship management with key accounts. The TBM works closely with other representatives, Drug Benefit List (DBL) administrators, Regional Medical Directors (RMDs), and headquarter personnel to ensure the successful execution of sales and marketing strategies.
Key responsibilities of the TBM include developing and implementing sales plans to meet or exceed revenue targets, conducting product presentations and trainings for healthcare providers, and identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the territory. The TBM also collaborates with Marketing teams to develop and execute promotional campaigns, monitor market trends, and gather competitive intelligence.
In addition, the TBM serves as a liaison between the company and key accounts, working to build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers and influencers. The TBM must also effectively communicate with internal stakeholders, providing regular updates on territory performance, market insights, and competitor activity.
Overall, the TBM plays a critical role in driving the success of the company’s products within their assigned territory, and must demonstrate strong leadership, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills in order to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and achieve business objectives.
