You must have some form of journalism experience – previous internships or roles in a range of organizations, freelance or non-traditional outlets. You must also have your own gear, a valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle.Interns work with full-time staff in a challenging but supportive environment.All Star internships are paid, contract positions.Positions would be based out of Toronto.QualificationsA creative photographer/videographer to cover a wide variety of assignments, including sports, news, and feature portraits. Many assignments will require shooting video as well as still images. You should be an enthusiastic and curious young photojournalist ready to bring new perspectives and strong news judgment to your work at the Star.The successful candidate will:
- Execute a variety of coverage assignments each day
- Brainstorm ideas for feature photographs
- Edit, caption, and transmit photos/videos quickly and efficiently
