Accounts Payable Specialist

Job Description:
Our client in the construction industry is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team in Vancouver, BC. This is a full-time permanent position.

Responsibilities:
– Processing accounts payable invoices and payments
– Matching purchase orders with invoices
– Reconciling vendor statements
– Resolving any discrepancies or issues with vendors
– Assisting with month-end closing and reporting
– Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records

Qualifications:
– 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or related field
– Strong attention to detail
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
