If you love music and got excited just thinking about joining this amazing organization, we would love to meet you!Insights Intern – 4 MonthsThe UMC team works four days a week from our creative campus located in Liberty Village, Toronto and one day to work virtually.As an Insights Intern, you will have the opportunity to support the Insights, Data & Technology team in several ways including understanding and reporting actionable insights related to key areas of the music business. You will work closely with other departments to communicate findings, understand context, and collaborate on key projects. Your contribution will be valuable in providing insights about our artists and fans to enable informed and strategic decision-making.ResponsibilitiesBe a super user of automated business reporting. On a regular cadence collect and summarize insights from automated reports.Analyzing effects of marketing campaigns on music streaming and building presentation decks with summary.Assist in weekly reporting and executive level summariesSupport the team in artist deep dives and ad hoc updates being provided to artist teams.Help develop the creation of templates for insights presentation decksCompile and provide insights from qualitative research to better understand music consumers.Assist in facilitation and execution of fan focused research initiativesDevelop educational materials for key stakeholders to enable them to fully utilize data solutionsOther duties and projects as assigned.RequirementsEducation/Relevant experience in Digital Marketing or Music Analytics is a plusAnalytical and Data Storytelling skills; the ability to not only interpret data, but understand and recognize key insights and communicate them to key stakeholdersAbility to take initiative and work in a fast-paced environment.Capability to liaise with all levels across the enterprise on projects and ad-hoc requests.Presentation skills are valuable (Canva, Keynote, Powerpoint)Data Visualization skills (DataStudio/DOMO/Tableau) is a plus.Knowledge of SQL and Python is a plus.BEFORE APPLYINGBefore you proceed with your application, please consider the questions below.
