Then, Apply Now!Working with one of the top financial clients, this role calls for a UX Designer – Wealth who will be working alongside the Design System Brand Experience team to define and craft the expressive elements that would influence our digital brand experience. This role requires a versatile skill set ranging from Visual Design, UI/UX Design, Motion Design, to custom illustration development. This candidate will be involved from concept creation to design delivery and thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal guidance. The successful candidate will take initiative to collaborate with the various cross-functional teams to understand brand strategy, business goals, user needs, brand and accessibility standards and technical constraints, translating them into effective design solutions.Responsibilities:

Understand business challenges and identify unmet customer needs
Conceptualize and design the best possible engaging end-to-end product experiences
Create digital experiences that are thoughtful, compelling and meet marketing strategies and business goals
Participate in observational studies, usability testing and other user research. When required, you will plan, conduct and primary and secondary design research data to inform the design direction.
Collaborate with lead designers and contribute to creating interaction solutions that advocate for the user.
Design and create reusable components in Figma.
Provide detailed specifications to developers.
Have a wide understanding of technical constraints and include them in your solutions, but also know when to push boundaries.
Connect and work alongside other team members from technical teams, product owner and marketing to deliver an experience that exceeds the user’s needs and expectations
Comfortably develop custom illustrations (2D and 3D) and animations that reinforce emotional connection with working knowledge of motion constraints (e.g. After Effects workflows/Lotti file convert restrictions)
Experience in editorial design (eg annual report) is a plus
Willingness to experiment with new platforms and software, a quick learner who adapts easily and isn’t afraid to step into new environments.
Deliver high-quality assets at speed while balancing multiple priorities across digital products and initiatives.
Able to pick up the established design patterns quickly, and create new effective ones from initial design, overseeing development to delivery stages

Desired Skill Set:

A degree in design or a design-related discipline – user-centred design, visual design, graphic design, product design, etc. (or equivalent work experience)
5+ years of experience designing interactive experiences (or equivalent work experience)
Comprehensive understanding of interaction and UI design
Passion for creating simple and stunning visual design solutions
Ability to translate conceptual ideas into compelling customer experiences
Meticulous attention to detail
Good fundamental understanding of Responsive Web design and Mobile Application design (Android and iOS)
Ability to ask good questions and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Ability to communicate ideas to a diverse audience and constructively integrate feedback
A conceptual thinker with proven problem-solving skills
Ability to see the & “ big picture; and hone in on the details
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate well in a team environment
Proficiency with design tools with Adobe’s Creative Suite
Strong portfolio that showcases your understanding of user-centred design
Fundamental understanding of design principles and branding
Proficiency with Adobe’s Creative Suite (including After Effects to create animation, Adobe Illustrator to develop custom illustration (2D and 3D) and InDesign for page layout) as well as industry-leading interface design tools such as Figma

Nice To Have:

Experience working in the Financial industry is an asset
General understanding of Agile Methodologies or experience working in an agile process
Skillsets to create high-fidelity prototypes, user flow diagrams, and storyboards
General understanding of HTML/CSS (able to produce web-ready assets and designs)
