Be at the heart of our transformation and take pride in driving the change for the ever-changing needs of all Canadians, whether in the heart our cities or remote towns and First Nation communities.You will work closely with Marketing, Product Managers, Engineers, UX Researchers, and Product Designers to build modern, intuitive, and accessible websites and user experiences.The roleIdentify and design creative solutions by translating research insights and business requirements into user interfaces that satisfy user needs.Collaborate with research, content and strategy teams to create personas, test prototypes, build user journeys and other framing techniques.Work on engaging and feasible user-centered products through a range of techniques (i.e storyboards, user flows, prototypes, etc.).Collaborate with stakeholders, agencies, product owners, and development teams to identify user needs, conceptualize solutions, execute on digital designs, document designs as specifications, and oversee UI/UX implementation.Use strong presentation skills and ably explain decision processes to stakeholders and product owners.Maintain design consistency by using Our Client’s design system (and help to grow it), ourdigital experience principles, and our established design practices.Share knowledge and expertise with team members and stakeholders at Our Client to evolve current product design practices.Work with Developers to ensure that what we ship matches what you design.Present and iterate designs based on peer reviews, user research and user testing.About you2-4 years experience working in visual design, product design or UX.Design portfolio that shows your problem solving and design abilities.Experience in working with stakeholders, product managers, product owners and developers to improve user experience.Skilled in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Figma.You understand accessibility and why it matters (or willing to learn).Experience crafting high-fidelity prototypes, pitches and concepts that are tailored to the audience and problem space.Good verbal and writing skills to communicate complex interaction design concepts to different audiences.Experience designing for mobile and web and communicating your specs and design requirements to Developers.

  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Figma; familiarity with accessibility standards.
  • Skilled in crafting high-fidelity prototypes and communicating design requirements effectively.
  • Experience designing for both mobile and web platforms.
