Job Description: Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) Support Specialist

Overview:
We are seeking a Detail-Oriented Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) Support Specialist to join our team. This role plays a critical part in the accurate digital representation of electrical systems as outlined by Project Layout Designers (PLD). You will be responsible for creating and maintaining digital models that adhere to Miller Electric standards, utilizing advanced Revit software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Project Layout Designers to interpret and implement electrical system layouts.
• Develop precise digital models of electrical systems in alignment with Miller Electric standards.
• Utilize Revit for creating and modifying electrical design components while ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Conduct quality checks on digital representations to ensure adherence to project specifications and compliance with industry standards.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate integration and delivery of cohesive project outcomes.
• Stay updated on the latest Revit features and industry best practices to enhance modeling proficiency.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Revit and experience in creating detailed electrical system designs.
• Strong understanding of the Virtual Design and Construction processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
• Previous experience in electrical design or a related field is a plus.
