Job Description: Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) Coordinator

We are seeking a detail-oriented Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) Coordinator to enhance our VDC process by providing precise digital representations of electrical systems as laid out by our Project Layout Designers (PLD). This role is crucial in ensuring that our digital models adhere to the high standards set by Miller Electric.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Project Layout Designers to interpret design specifications and accurately model electrical systems in a digital environment.
• Develop and maintain high-quality Revit models that reflect the latest project changes and updates.
• Ensure all digital representations comply with Miller Electric standards and industry best practices.
• Conduct regular reviews of models for accuracy, completeness, and clarity.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving any discrepancies between the digital model and real-world implementations.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure seamless integration and collaboration on multidisciplinary projects.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest VDC technologies and methodologies to enhance workflow efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience with Autodesk Revit, specifically in creating and managing electrical system models.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems design and installation processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Familiarity with VDC principles and best practices is a plus.
