Job Description: Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) Specialist

Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) Specialist to support our digital initiatives in accurately representing electrical systems within our projects. This role is crucial in ensuring that our designs align with Miller Electric standards and effectively facilitate seamless project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Project Layout Designers (PLD) to develop precise digital models of electrical systems using Revit.
• Ensure adherence to Miller Electric’s standards and best practices in digital representation.
• Maintain accuracy and consistency in all digital models, ensuring they reflect the physical layout and specifications of the electrical systems.
• Participate in project coordination meetings to discuss model progress and address any discrepancies or challenges.
• Utilize advanced features in Revit to optimize designs and enhance project workflows.
• Support the integration of VDC practices into the overall project management process.
• Conduct quality checks and revisions on digital models to ensure compliance with project requirements and timelines.
• Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies related to Virtual Design and Construction.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in Revit and other relevant software applications.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and construction processes.
