We understand that work gives hope, strengthens relationships and drives economic growth.Job DescriptionAbout the roleLocation: Work from home anywhere in CanadaThe Communications & Social Media Specialist is responsible for implementing and maintaining WCG’s Social Media channels, with a focus on increasing awareness of the WCG brand and its programs and services. A key priority for this role is ensuring innovative digital strategies and campaigns that result in achievement of employment program client volume targets.Reporting to the Director Strategic Communications & Marketing, this role will support business growth and employment services operational delivery through building and maintaining social media campaigns, as well as implementation, analysis and reporting on campaigns, to continuously drive improvement.What you’ll do

  • Support the Director with the development and distribution of internal and external communication
  • Write and develop content that aligns with the brand strategy across all programs , including for WCG managed websites
  • Develop and curate content for social media across WCG’s social media channels
  • Execute a results driven social media strategy
  • Engage with online community to drive increase in client volumes, audience numbers, CTR, etc. including responding to comments, messages and inquiries
  • Support program staff with responding to social media comments and messages
  • Develop and implement social media calendar
  • Monthly analytical reporting
  • Manage and assist Website developer with all ongoing development of WCG corporate and program specific websites
  • Ongoing management and implementation of SEO for website – including on-page keyword targeting/optimisations and technical
  • Work with WCG’s external website management designer and other external agencies

QualificationsWhat you bring

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in managing Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Paid Search (PPC).
  • Technical and working knowledge of SEO, SEM (search, display, video), Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
  • Experience with website analysis using a variety of analytics tools including Google Analytics as well as internal reporting tools. Sharepoint experience beneficial but not required.
  • WordPress, HubSpot and other web CMS systems preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • MailChimp experience preferred.
  • BS/BA degree preferred.
  • Passion for social media and internet marketing.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite & Canva.
  • Results-oriented mindset and experience.
  • Keep pace with search engine and PPC industry trends and developments.
  • Outstanding ability to think creatively and identify and resolve problems.
  • Bilingual preferred.
  • Experience within Social Service sector preferred.

Job Description

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $80,000 – $100,000 per year

Location: Toronto, ON, Canada

Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee all aspects of the production process. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing production schedules, coordinating with various departments, and ensuring that products meet quality standards. Responsibilities include:

– Developing and implementing production plans to meet customer demands
– Supervising production staff and ensuring that they are well-trained and productive
– Monitoring production processes and making adjustments as needed to maximize efficiency
– Implementing quality control measures to ensure that products meet company standards
– Collaborating with other departments, such as engineering and sales, to coordinate production schedules
– Identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to increase productivity and reduce costs
– Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
– Performing other duties as assigned

Requirements:

– Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations management, or a related field
– 5+ years of experience in production management, preferably in a manufacturing environment
– Strong leadership and communication skills
– Excellent problem-solving abilities
– Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
– Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
