Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Creating visual imagery for websites and ensuring they are in line with brand rules;
- Updating websites with content and graphics;
- Updating content management systems, including WordPress and Joomla!;
- Testing, assuring quality, and improving the design and functionality of websites;
- Maintaining design guidelines, standards, and best practices;
- Conceptualizing creative ideas with internal teams;
- Preparing design plans and presenting website information structure; and
- Incorporating new functionality and features into websites.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, digital media design, art or related field with at least five (5) years of progressive professional experience or; equivalent combination of industry-specific experience and training that provides the requisite knowledge skills and abilities. (required)
- Familiarity with website content management. (required)
- Ability to manage website content and software to enhance the Geosyntec brand. (required)
- Ability to create effective presentations and respond to inquiries from internal and external clients; and effectively present information and respond to questions from colleagues, managers and clients. (required)
- Ability to communicate in a professional manner including critical and analytical thinking about the purpose of the document and how the content may be improved. (required)
- Updating content and software with a strong attention to detail. (required)
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, and typing ability. (required)
