You will actively help the Electrical Infrastructure team with projects related to transit, commercial, industrial, municipal infrastructure, including water and wastewater treatment facilities. • Assist the Electrical Infrastructure team with their duties and tasks
• Review drawings for quality control
• Shop drawing reviews
• Writing technical reports
• Attend regular team meetings and project specific meetings.
• Participate in training courses as requested
• Review drawings for quality control
• Store and manage project documentation in accordance with CIMA’s Project Management Standards
• Site visits with Senior Engineers for equipment investigation, testing, commissioning
• Consulting with vendors and manufacturers

Qualifications

• Co-op student currently enrolled in an Electrical Engineering Bachelor’s Degree (B.Eng.) or equivalent
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools like Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Attention to detail and analytical skills
• Good communication and writing skills
• A valid Ontario driver’s license
• Access to a vehicle

The salary for this position ranges from $22.50 to $28.00 per hour, depending on your academic program, the number of credits earned, and your previous co-op or internship experience.
