You will actively help the Electrical Infrastructure team with projects related to transit, commercial, industrial, municipal infrastructure, including water and wastewater treatment facilities. - Assist the Electrical Infrastructure team with their duties and tasks
- Review drawings for quality control
- Shop drawing reviews
- Writing technical reports
- Attend regular team meetings and project specific meetings.
- Participate in training courses as requested
- Review drawings for quality control
- Store and manage project documentation in accordance with CIMA’s Project Management Standards
- Site visits with Senior Engineers for equipment investigation, testing, commissioning
- Consulting with vendors and manufacturers
Qualifications
- Co-op student currently enrolled in an Electrical Engineering Bachelor’s Degree (B.Eng.) or equivalent
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools like Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Attention to detail and analytical skills
- Good communication and writing skills
- A valid Ontario driver’s license
- Access to a vehicle
The expected salary for this position ranges from $22.50 to $28.00 per hour, depending on your academic program, the number of credits earned, and your previous co-op or internship experience.
