Department Overview

The Integrated Marketing Planning team partners with our business channels and Marketing experts to design world class marketing strategies, and campaigns that drive shareholder value and customer loyalty. Our team acts as consultants on all aspects of marketing, influencing the business strategy, while ensuring TD brand is protected and delivered in the customer experience. Job Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree or relevant professional certifications, designations, or equivalent required
  • Over 5 years of relevant experience with multiple marketing principles and disciplines, strategy development, consulting principles, lines of businesses supported, banking industry, and product/customer markets
  • Agency briefing and creative execution experience
  • Paid digital tactical experience and familiarity with digital platforms like Facebook, Google, etc
  • Knowledge or working experience in Agile principles an asset
  • Knowledge of project/program support, planning and implementation
  • Proficiency with MS Office, software tools and technologies
  • A self-motivator with excellent organizational and communications skills to prioritize and multi-task in a collaborative or independent setting
  • A dynamic leader with positive attitude who can deliver projects and initiatives while managing a team in a demanding environment

Job Description

We are looking for someone for the position of Associate Marketing Manager to act as Key Marketing Consultant to the business on all aspects of marketing. You will be expected to influence the business strategy while ensuring TD brand is protected and delivered in the customer experience.
The Associate Marketing Manager, Acquisition, TD Consumer Credit Cards will support acquisition strategies to drive card sales. The incumbent will lead the creative development and execution of acquisition marketing campaigns (display, social, onsite) by designing and delivering marketing solutions consistent with TD’s marketing standards and strategies. While supporting overall acquisition strategies in support of driving creased digital sales.
On a typical day at work, you will be expected to:

  • Partner with the acquisition business to achieve omni- channel acquisition
  • Lead execution of digital marketing campaigns that meet business and marketing strategies and objectives with a focus on display, social and onsite
  • Gather, integrate and interpret existing views of the target audience, including demographic, attitudinal, and behavioral data to create campaign kick offs and briefs
  • Prioritize and manage own workload to meet service level requirements for service and productivity
  • Adhere to enterprise frameworks or methodologies that relate to activities for respective business area(s)
  • Ensure respective programs/policies/practices are well managed, meets business needs, complies with internal and external requirements, and aligns with business priorities
  • Act as Marketing advisor for cards business, typically leading projects of low to moderate scope and complexity
  • Integrate the broader organizational context into advice and solutions within own area through in-depth knowledge / expertise in own domain and working knowledge of broader related areas
  • Participate fully as a member of the team, support a positive work environment that promotes service to the business, quality, innovation and teamwork and ensure timely communication of issues/ points of interest
  • Provide thought leadership and/ or industry knowledge for own area of expertise in own area and participate in knowledge transfer within the team and business unit
  • Keep current on emerging trends/ developments and grow knowledge of the business, related tools and techniques

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and support the setup and successful integration of tools into the ecommerce tech stack
  • Identify opportunities for testing and share with stakeholders within and outside the ecommerce team.

To Succeed, You Will Need:

  • Post-secondary education in Marketing
  • A Minimum of 1 year related experience
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Solid Excel, Google Analytics, Adobe Analtyics, Power BI, Tableau or Google Data Studio skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Basic project management skills
