We are looking for a Digital Marketing Student to join our team for the Fall term (September – December)!
This is your opportunity to help transform one of Canada’s largest and most trusted companies by joining the Brand Measurement and Marketing team. We operate like a start-up within one of Canada’s largest insurance and financial institutions, using Agile methodology and the latest in digital marketing tactics.
You’ll be relied upon to assist our executional teams. You’ll also learn how to drive the strategic, digital and creative objectives of various marketing campaigns.
Based in Toronto and reporting to the Manager, the Digital Marketing Intern is enrolled in a marketing, business or communications program. They also have a track record of success solving problems, communicating clearly, a passion for the financial services industry and knowledge of digital marketing tactics.
What you will do:
- Support ongoing B2B and B2C executions as required
- Business as usual tasks as assigned by the manager and director of digital marketing
- Come to the table with ideas on how to increase brand awareness, ensure customer loyalty, attract new customers and deliver exceptional customer experiences through digital channels
- Requirements gathering and customer empathy: You’ll assist the manager with synthesizing market, consumer, product and competitor data
- Manage performance reporting and presentation of data for both B2B and B2C marketing campaigns
What you will bring:
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices, such as IAB Digital Advertising Guidelines
- Strong understanding of digital analytics and the ability to interpret data
- Experience with Office 365 tools
- Ability to build workback schedules and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- A proven relationship builder
- Enrolled in a College or University program in a relevant field
- Working knowledge of the Canadian financial services industry is an asset
- Bilingualism is an asset (English and French)
