We are seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Optometrist to join our team in Toronto, ON. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye care services to our patients, including conducting eye exams, diagnosing and treating vision problems, prescribing eyeglasses and contact lenses, and managing various ocular conditions.
Key responsibilities:
– Perform comprehensive eye examinations, including visual acuity, refraction, eye health assessment, and intraocular pressure measurement
– Diagnose and treat vision problems, eye diseases, and other ocular conditions
– Prescribe eyeglasses and contact lenses based on individual needs
– Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgeries
– Educate patients on proper eye care habits and preventive measures
– Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
Qualifications:
– Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited institution
– Current license to practice optometry in Ontario
– Strong clinical skills and knowledge of current optometric practices
