What We Offer

As an Analyst in the Digital Products group, you will contribute to our mission of delivering the future of smart home & Internet of Things (IoT) innovations to our customers. You will be a key contributor to all facets of the business, including the evaluation of new community partnerships, proposing recommendations to the executive team, providing input on marketing initiatives, and managing the operations of the business. This is a unique opportunity to build an entrepreneurial and innovative new venture with the support of an established PE asset manager. We are committed to investing in your personal and professional growth, including exposure to senior MAM executives and involvement in topics ranging from corporate development and strategy to investment management.

Responsibilities

  • Acquire in-depth knowledge of IoT technology with a focus on smart home and stay on top of the latest trends/developments within the industry
  • Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis to support critical business decisions (e.g. marketing, pricing)
  • Manage third party vendors including software providers, hardware manufacturers, 3rd party logistics, and contractors.
  • Work with homebuilders’ sales, procurement, construction and IT teams to seamlessly integrate the smart home business into existing homebuilding operations.
  • Develop training materials for sales and customer support staff to support them in their customer facing roles.
  • Prepare and present recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders.

What You Bring

Must-haves

  • Strong undergraduate academic credentials in an analytical discipline (e.g., business, accounting, finance, economics, engineering)
  • 1-3 years of work experience in a high-performance environment (e.g., Consulting, banking, strategy, product management, corporate development or startup)

Strong research, analysis, project management, financial modelling, operations, and execution skills * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Positive attitude, entrepreneurial mindset, and ability to collaborate in a team with a lot of autonomy
  • Willingness to “roll-up” the sleeves and get involved in all aspects of developing a new smart home business

Nice-to-haves

  • Passion for smart home technology
  • Experience in the home building or home renovation industry
