The gig.
Reporting directly to the Outbound Demand Generation Manager, you will play an important role writing copy for email campaigns across our core markets. You’ll also play a supporting role in writing and reviewing copy for social media ads, search marketing, landing pages, digital properties, direct mail pieces, and other promotional materials that have a direct impact on lead generation goals for our fast-growing company.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and publish promotional emails across new business, add-on, and retention efforts, including product launches, feature updates, nurtures, support updates, event / webinar promotions, and newsletters
- Execute and deploy daily email marketing campaigns alongside an Email Marketing Specialist, who will handle the technical aspects of sending emails (e.g. templates, nurture logic, etc.)
- Work closely with Product Marketing to translate messaging frameworks and value props into compelling copy that aligns with the Q4 brand and encourages recipients to take action
- Support ABM campaigns with one-to-one and one-to-few marketing copy development
- Work with the Content Marketing and Demand Generation teams to integrate brand tone across all emails
- Collaborate with creative, product, marketing, and legal to assess project needs and help with messaging
- Stay current on trends and competitors within the editorial sphere
- Work with external agencies to develop impactul copy for paid ads across search, social media and display
- Understand campaign reporting and metrics, using insights from these reports to drive content decisions.
- Ensure all promoted content is up-to-date via routine review
- Identify internal and external resources for use in campaign content development
- Edit and proof work to ensure high editorial standards are met across all content outputs
Desired Skills, Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or Communications
- 3-5 years experience in copywriting, preferably with a SaaS company or agency
- Strong creative thinking skills and ability to think conceptually
- Comfortable working independently with little direction under tight deadlines
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a diligent eye for detail, language, flow, and grammar
- Proven ability to demonstrate brand voice
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent portfolio of work
