What We Offer

Under the leadership of the Director of Marketing, the Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for supporting the creation and implementation of all online consumer touchpoints for our portfolio of companies, including web, mobile, and social media. Responsibilities

  • Support the digital strategy and marketing for the Mattamy Ventures group of companies, from ideation through to delivery including identifying insights and audiences
  • Act as the go to for social media, web, and digital marketing, identify new content opportunities based on best practice and trends and executing
  • Monitoring and reporting on content value using digital marketing analytics and social media listening tools
  • Responsible for creating content calendars and scheduling content using social scheduling and tracking tools
  • Act as the main point of contact for website management, ensuring copy and web content is updated as required, and ensuring a best in class user experience
  • Create reports and dashboards based on clear KPIs across digital marketing channels
  • Work with internal stakeholders and external partners to support the planning and execution of brand campaigns, including managing agency partners, setting up and optimizing social media and email marketing campaigns
  • Leverage social channels for customer service and integrate with customer service teams and tools
  • Contribute to budget creation, ensuring efficient spend and effective implementation. Responsible for providing ongoing tracking and budget management, including invoice and payment management.

What You Bring

Must-haves

  • University degree at the Bachelor level, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business Management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 3 years of digital marketing experience, with B2C experience
  • Working knowledge of social advertising, including experience executing and evaluating paid digital campaigns either independently or with an agency partner
  • Experience writing effective digital advertising, website, and email copy
  • Working knowledge of SEO/SEM, Google Analytics, and social scheduling/tracking tools such as Hootsuite or others
  • Social media content development, management, and advertising experience
  • A skilled implementer, with a focus on making strategy come alive through good execution
  • Experience working with agencies, and managing external stakeholder relationships
  • Proven project management skills – managing multiple projects/initiatives including creating, deploying, and monitoring email campaigns; automation experience considered an asset

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience marketing Financial products and/or Real Estate services
  • Previous experience in an agency
  • Previous experience working on marketing for a best in class consumer facing brand
