The Project Analyst, Digital Buildings is a multi-faceted, key position within our group. This role is primarily responsible for monitoring and reporting on our initiatives, as well as developing strategic communications to promote the adoption of our program.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn about building technologies while growing your project management skills in close collaboration with highly supportive team members. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for:

  • Tracking, coordinating, and reporting on all project tasks and activities to ensure timely and accurate status updates to key project stakeholders
  • Tracking and reporting on critical path items, risks and roadblocks to minimize project delays
  • Creating project documentation such as PPT decks, meeting agendas and minutes, project timelines, etc.
  • Assisting with the preparation and submission of regular project update reports
  • Arranging and coordinating project team meetings
  • Following up with project team members to check on the status of tasks
  • Develop and update program roadmaps
  • Update program documentation – digital building strategy, standards, playbook
  • Maintain internal Digital Buildings SharePoint site by writing case studies, uploading current information.
  • Participate in, assist with leading workshops with site teams, and other internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain repository of vendor technologies
  • Attend vendor presentations, and keep up to date with latest digital building technologies

To succeed in this role, you have:

  • Project management – experience with creating project charters, Gantt charts, tracking project status and risks
  • Strong interpersonal, written and spoken English communication skills, bilingual in French an asset
  • The ability to handle multiple projects of various sizes simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, with an emphasis on Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Teams
  • An eye for detail when writing and editing business documents, communications and presentations
  • Experience working in a technical environment and asset
  • Project management – experience with creating project charters, Gantt charts, tracking project status and risks
  • Previous experience writing case studies and blogs, or working with marketing and communications group an asset
  • Skilled in developing presentations and delivering to large audiences
  • Previous experience promoting the adoption of programs, product, or services to customers
  • Strong interpersonal, written and spoken English communication skills, bilingual in French an asset

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent experience – business, communications, or sciences
  • PMP, or working towards an asset
