Job description: Job Title: Frontend Software DeveloperJob DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Frontend Software Developer to join our team. In this role, you will work collaboratively with other developers to create and maintain software, tools, and infrastructure for web applications, services, and IoT devices. You will be responsible for writing well-designed, reusable, testable, and efficient code, as well as troubleshooting and resolving issues. Participation in peer code reviews is also a key aspect of this position.Responsibilities

  • Work with other developers to create and maintain software, tools, and infrastructure for web applications, services, and IoT devices.
  • Write well-designed, reusable, testable, and efficient code.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Participate in peer code reviews.
  • For the first three months, focus on bug fixes and small features to get introduced to the code base and different parts of it.
  • After the initial period, engage in full feature development.
  • Receive requirements and transform them into a final product, including breaking down functional specs into design documents, screen mock-ups, and testing plans.
  • Engage in coding and testing your own work.
  • Due to limited QA resources, write and test your own code.
  • Verify that what you have built works once it is pushed out to servers, and then hand off to the tester.

Essential Skills

  • 15+ years of experience with Typescript.
  • 5+ years of experience with REACT.
  • 5+ years of experience with Node.js.
  • 3+ years of experience with SQL.
  • Experience with automated testing tools such as Jest, Cucumber, Puppeteer, NUnit, Python.
  • Experience with C++, C#, YAML, Terraform.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Knowledge of various system architectures and software principles.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Expertise in transforming requirements into software designs.
  • Proficiency in crafting user-friendly interfaces.
  • Experience with Redis.
  • Experience in source code management and branching techniques (Git preferred).
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred).
  • Experience with Docker.
  • Experience with Linux.
  • Bonus: Experience building Linux firmware with Yocto.
