As we continue to expand, we are looking for a Director of Business Development to lead a team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs) in driving pipeline growth and new business opportunities across AMZ Prep’s service offerings.This role is focused on outbound lead generation, strategic account targeting, and pipeline acceleration through digital and in-person engagement. You will work closely with Marketing and Sales leadership to refine AMZ Prep’s outbound strategy, optimize sales processes, and develop a high-performing BDR team. This position requires strong leadership, a data-driven mindset, and a proven ability to hire, coach, and scale sales teams in a fast-paced environment.What You’ll Do

  • Lead, coach, and develop the Business Development team to achieve and exceed pipeline generation and revenue targets.
  • Define and execute strategies for outbound prospecting, lead nurture, and account targeting.
  • Optimize outbound sales workflows, implementing new tools, technology, and processes.
  • Ensure the team is effectively qualifying leads and securing high-value meetings for Account Executives.
  • Use CRM and sales engagement tools to track performance, analyze data, and drive improvements.
  • Collaborate with Revenue Operations and Marketing to refine ideal customer profiles (ICPs) and optimize lead qualification.
  • Establish team KPIs and continuously improve conversion rates, outreach effectiveness, and pipeline health.
  • Conduct regular training, 1:1 coaching, and performance reviews to develop and retain top talent.
  • Partner with sales leadership on territory planning, forecasting, and go-to-market strategy.
  • Participate in hiring and onboarding as the BDR team scales.
  • Travel up to 10% to attend industry events and meet with key partners.

What You’ll Need

  • 7+ years of experience in B2B sales development, with 5+ years managing and scaling teams.
  • Proven success leading outbound BDR or SDR teams to exceed pipeline and revenue targets.
  • Strong understanding of sales engagement tools and CRM systems (Salesforce, Apollo, Outreach, etc.).
  • Data-driven approach to sales leadership, with the ability to analyze performance metrics and optimize strategies.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, and Revenue Operations to drive GTM success.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, balancing strategy and execution.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate complex sales cycles and business models.
  • Experience in eCommerce, logistics, fulfillment, or Amazon-related services is preferred.
