The primary purpose of the role is to fulfill E-Commerce orders from our store in Mississauga. Some of the associate responsibilities are stocking inventory, picking, packing, scanning orders, and shipping. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction while adhering to all company and Store Policies, Procedures, and Processes.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

E-commerce orders fulfillment

· Fulfill and meet daily the order capacity for our “Ship from store” web orders service, in the dedicated lead time and according to the company standards.

· Locating and extracting merchandise from shelves and storage areas

· Packing the merchandise for delivery

· Finalizing the work order and update the inventory database

· Confirming merchandise information matches that of the order.

· Inspecting the merchandise for damage, flaws, and irregularities

· Work collaboratively with marketing and sales teams

· Manage all supplies needed to process order packing.

· Organize the space to increase efficiency.

· All other duties or projects as assigned

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to lift heavy objects

· Ability to stand or walk for up to 8-hours a day

Expected start date: 2021-10-24

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $15.00-$16.00 per hour

The Operations Supervisor – Ecommerce will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of bluboho.com. This role will lead a team that will provide a unique guest experience to our online guests, while maintaining operational excellence for our online business. The Operations Supervisor – Ecommerce will work closely with the Ecommerce Manager to ensure the team is supporting the execution of the overall ecommerce and digital strategy.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Plan and schedule web team members to ensure proper staffing in order to provide a best-in-class guest experience, maintain site performance, and fulfill and ship orders in a productive, timely and cost-efficient manner
  • Conduct daily start-up meetings to establish and assign daily duties/assignments and workload to team members accordingly; empowering the team by delegating tasks
  • Provide support to the team, whether it be with guest experience, remerchandising collection pages or picking and packing on a high order volume day
  • Train web connectors in the proper execution of standard operating procedures (SOP’s) for our online store
  • Ensure team is following all SOP’s and verify the accuracy and completeness of all guest communications, order fulfilment, stock transfers to stores and online exchanges
  • Market research; to identify unique online selling tactics that will empower the team to convert all guest interactions to sales
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote guest outreach by the team
  • Inventory management; collaboratively perform bi-annual inventory counts, weekly cycle counts and restocking lists with the team, communicating all discrepancies with the marketing/production team
  • Product profile management; creating new profiles, updating, and reviewing older product, ship date management
  • Monitor progress of orders and identify opportunities while proactively addressing and resolving alongside your team to ensure the guest experience is always top of mind
  • Prepare and generate the daily productivity reports, monitoring and reporting to the Ecommerce Manager on the key performance indicators (KPI’s)
  • Supplies and shipment packaging management
  • Lead the recruitment for new web store team members; having foresight into staffing needs and creating a talent pipeline to support
  • Coach, manage, mentor and onboard new and existing team members to ensure that they succeed, including identifying and developing internal talent for the future
  • Implementing departmental training and job rotation activities, initiate plans to motivate team members, administer performance management (coaching and accountability)

What you’ll bring:

Required:

  • Minimum 2 years Ecommerce and Retail Management experience
  • Experience using the Shopify/Shopify Plus platform
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and relationship management skills, with the ability to lead/collaborate with direct reports and cross-functional teams
  • Strong organization skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task, problem-solve, and effectively communicate in a challenging, fast-paced environment
  • Adaptable to change and receptive to feedback and suggestions
  • A natural curiosity and vision for the evolution of retail and the view that our guests can have the same experience we offer in store, on the web

Preferred:

  • University Degree in Business or Marketing
  • Experience working in a retail luxury goods or fine jewellery organization

The Digital Fundraising Specialist will work with vendors to assist Territorial Annual Giving Manager with the development of the digital fundraising strategy, source or create donor-centric content and drive timelines to increase online giving and stewardship. There is a strong focus on donor renewal, new donor acquisition and donor retention strategies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Digital Fundraising

  • Assist to develop and implement a strategic digital fundraising strategy to grow online giving from existing donors and acquire new donors – single gifts and monthly giving donors
  • Collaborate with Communications and Marketing team to determine the timing and social media assets for each digital fundraising campaign
  • Manage timelines for each campaign to ensure deadlines are met
  • Coordinate the digital fundraising for Emergency Disasters – national and international , including immediate response, digital stewardship and collaboration with Marketing, EDS and World Services
  • Identify opportunities to increase efficiencies and maximize revenue

Fundraising & Stewardship

  • Employ a donor-centric approach to fundraising and stewardship
  • Test digital fundraising strategies to determine the best approach for donor retention and acquisition
  • Assist to develop and manage stewardship plans for online single gift and monthly donors, in conjunction with the Campaign Coordinator; maintain ongoing stewardship
  • Monitor and report on digital fundraising donor acquisition and retention, and all digital fundraising campaigns
  • Segment donor file to optimize donor experience and revenue potential
  • Work with the Annual Giving Manager to create an integrated approach to fundraising through various channels
  • Strategically manage and promote mobile giving
  • Develop, administer and synthesize results for digital donor surveys
  • Work with Database Manager to ensure donor data is captured accurately in Raiser’s Edge NXT

Content

  • Collaborate with the Communications and Marketing team to gather content for fundraising appeals, e-newsletters and digital stewardship
  • Connect directly with divisions and clients to arrange for interviews, content and photo opportunities
  • Edit content to ensure messaging is compelling, donor-centric and it meets The Salvation Army messaging guidelines

Administration

  • Produce campaign reports and donors lists for divisions on a regular basis and as requested
  • Key contact for online giving vendor
  • Coordinate digital campaigns collaboratively with Marketing & Communications, assisting with digital creation and campaign execution as needed
  • Provide back up to the Territorial Campaign Coordinator as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Education/Certifications:

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Fundraising, Marketing or equivalent experience

Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience in annual giving fundraising, specifically digital fundraising
  • Writing and editing experience

Required Skills/Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of fund development best practices and principles
  • Ability to lead projects to meet expected outcomes
  • Strong knowledge of current and developing online fundraising strategies, social media, mobile and new technologies
  • Thorough understanding of Blackbaud’s Raiser’s Edge NXT and digital marketing tools
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • A demonstrated understanding of philanthropic trends both nationally and internationally
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and a variety of demands
