The Dietitian will participate in student education, as appropriate, including the training of dietetic interns. The RD brings a strong knowledge of all Ontario legislation that affects the range of considerations including pediatric and adolescent care, health care consent act, and mental health care.Qualifications1. Current registration with the College of Dietitians of Ontario
2. Membership with Dietitians of Canada preferred
3. Baccalaureate degree in applied Human Nutrition or equivalent, and successful completion of dietetic internship
4. Minimum of 2 years experience in the past 3 years as a Registered Dietitian with a child and adolescent population and their families in both an inpatient and outpatient setting preferred
5. Minimum of 2 years experience in the past 3 years as a Registered Dietitian with children and adolescents experiencing an eating disorder such as anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa preferred
6. Demonstrates knowledge, skills and abilities in dietetic assessment, treatment and counseling with child and adolescent patients with an eating disorder and their families
7. Previous experience working within a multidisciplinary team
8. Demonstrates an ability and willingness to support dietetic students and dietetic interns
9. Demonstrates ability to work in a fast paced changing environment
10. Excellent communication, teamwork, problem-solving and decision-making skills
