  • Supports Senior Estimator in the development of cost estimates for bids and proposals.
  • Assists with scope definition/WBS development.
  • Performs quantity take-offs.
  • Identifies and drafts bidder queries/requests for clarification.
  • Prepares and issues Requests for Quotation to subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Receives and evaluates vendor quotations.
  • Liaises with Construction Management to coordinate constructability, scheduling and project execution inputs for cost estimates. Assists with estimate development, schedule development, cash flow analysis and risk analysis.
  • Identifies and drafts technical qualifications for bid.
  • Participates in internal and external estimate reviews.
  • Assists with handover of successful bid from estimating team to execution team.

What you’ll bring to WSP:

  • Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

  • Proficient with Cost Control, Planning and Scheduling fundamentals
