Job description: Our team has an immediate Internship opening for a User Researcher.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the Research lead to conduct secondary research including market research, industry trend analysis, competitive product analysis, communicate and deliver research insights independently
- Assist with primary user research including interviews, surveys, usability testing, card sorting etc. to collect user experience related data
- Assist with design thinking workshop facilitation for cross-functional co-creation
- Assist with creating research artifacts including user journey mapping, user persona, user feedback synthesis and research presentations
- Collaborate with designers and engineers to explore project’s research needs and brainstorm how to effectively conduct research tasks to fulfill discovered needs
- Document research findings
What you’ll bring to the team:
- Enrolled in an education program in User Experience Design, Human Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Psychology, Cognitive Science, Anthropology or related discipline
- Able to conduct secondary research and analyze gathered information to deliver insights independently
- Willing to learn about primary user research techniques to support user experience data collection
- Excellent communication, storytelling and presentation skills
- Strong work ethic with an inherent sense of ownership and responsibility
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
