About You:
You are a natural problem solver and engaging Social Media agent. You are responsible for brand reputation management and providing an exceptional customer experience on every interaction. Experienced in anticipating client needs during all stages of travel, from trip planning, to their return home, the Social Media agent can multi-task, prioritize, and communicate for a seamless online experience. You work towards a high online community standard of excellence.
What You’ll Do:
- Demonstrate rapid response and company emphasis on quality customer care, transparency and authenticity to a large, public audience through the use of multiple social media tools
- Identifying trends and potential crises, liaising with various departments to respond with urgency to protect the brand’s reputation as situations arise
- Focusing on providing exceptional service for every aspect of the customer experience
- Assigning inquiries to other areas of the Sunwing Travel Group and following up to ensure that they are received and responded to
- Seeking out sales opportunities, and convert them into bookings through tracking and follow-up communications
- Responding to customer emails with empathy and accuracy through the Sunwing “Contact Us” inbox
- Handle the recovery process for a service failure, in pursuit of the higher goal of prevention
- Preserve the relationship between the business and our travel partners, to the best of their ability
- Share feedback and suggestions from the online community to the management team to drive positive change
- Other duties as assigned
What You’ll Need:
- Exceptional customer service & sales skills
- Travel and Tourism education or employment, or social media customer service background an asset
- TICO Certification a requirement
- High level knowledge of TTS, Sprout Social, or Zendesk an asset
- Customer Experience driven, results oriented achiever
- Self- motivated team player with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Excellent written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to write clearly, succinctly and in a manner that appeals to a wide audience
- Flexible work schedule with the ability to work evenings and weekends
