- Ability to work year-round in between class schedules. Typically, 10-16 hours a week.
- EIT Certified or taking EIT in the next year.
- Ability to work productively in a collaborative team environment.
- Good communication skills.
- Demonstrate growth potential as well as a desire to learn.
- Flexible – can adapt to shifting priorities/work schedules.
- Able to work independently, self-learner.
- Documents time and effort accurately.
- Basic knowledge of industry-standard computer software for the position. (examples include software such as AutoCAD, ArcGIS, Hydrologic/Hydraulic models).
- Interest in one or more of the following areas: civil infrastructure design, hydrology and hydraulics, pipeline and pump station design, stormwater management, and green infrastructure / low impact P26:P27.
