Who You Are

NetBrain is looking for an enthusiastic aspiring DevOps Engineer to join our team as an Intern, starting as soon as they’re able and working through the summer. This person can be based in the Toronto, ON or Burlington, MA area and is expected to be able to commute to the office once a week. What You’ll Do

  • You will work closely with the product and development team to build out cloud operation’s functions.
  • Develop repeatable tools and processes for automation, configuration, monitoring, and alerting.
  • Responsible for managing the build and deployment of the Cloud (AWS, Azure or GCP etc.,) based infrastructure, using the appropriate tools and scripts.
  • Use Cloud System operations expertise and AWS CloudFormation to build and deploy the infrastructure as code.

  • Deploy and maintain highly available web applications and services.
  • Linux administration; and work with Windows Server 2012 R2/Windows Server 2016/2019/2022.

Who You Are

  • BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Expertise in programming in Python, Ruby, or Bash scripting languages.
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD tools.
  • Familiar with the provision and configuration using management tools (e.g. Puppet, Chef, Ansible).
  • Familiar with application monitoring tools like ELK, Splunk or Datadog
  • Familiar with container orchestration such as Kubernetes and IaC such as terraform.
  • Familiarity with SAAS project implementation is a plus.
  • Should be able to speak both English and Mandarin
