Job Description:
Granite Engineering, Inc. is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee our daily operations and ensure efficient business operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
– Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity
– Coordinate and manage day-to-day operations, including production, logistics, quality control, and inventory management
– Lead and manage a team of employees, providing guidance, training, and support as needed
– Achieve operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews
– Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards
– Analyze operational data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions
– Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and optimize business operations
– Oversee budgeting, reporting, and financial management in collaboration with the finance team
– Drive a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the operations team
– Communicate with senior management to report on operational performance and make recommendations for improvement
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in business, operations management, or a related field
– 5+ years of experience in operations management or a similar role
– Proven leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and engage a team
– Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
– Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
– Experience with project management and process improvement methodologies
– Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
– Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance standards
– Experience in the manufacturing or engineering industry is a plus
