Training and Activation drives the team member lifecycle experience including onboarding, training, growth/development and channel readiness activities to ensure our teams can deliver excellent, consistent results.Here’s the impact you’ll make and what we’ll accomplish together:Reporting to the Director of Enablement, the Senior Events Manager is a new role that will be responsible for the ideating, planning, and partnered execution of events ranging from small local scale, to large international incentive trips.You’ll lead compelling in-person/virtual events and sales programs that aim to achieve award winning status and engage our team to continue reaching for the top.
- Ideate, plan and execute the biggest sales incentive trip of the year. Including but not limited to, site visits, vendor management, and run of show leadership
- Lead the development of high-impact experiences for B2B inside sales specialists through various in-person and virtual events, trade shows, industry conferences, and business roundtables
- Liaise and build relationships with executives, sponsors, event organizers, and community partners
- Develop engaging plans, presentations and experiences that are anchored in insights, showcase a story, and link back to business strategy and objectives
- Leverage your impressive communications skills as a speaker, storyteller and writer to distill complex narratives and engage audiences
- Support executive and director communications
Please note that a valid passport, and ability to travel within Canada and Internationally will be mandatory in this role.This role is physically based in Toronto, Ontario working from our York St. office.QualificationsWhat you bring
- Education/certification in the events space or enterprise scale project management
- Progressive experience in enterprise event management and planning
- Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills with c-suite executives, sponsors, customers, and vendors
- A surgical attention to detail with a knack for “experience first”
- Able to pivot quickly to juggle multiple tasks and initiatives
- Thrive in a fast-paced, highly agile environment
- Ability to work independently and comfortable with ambiguity
- Experience working collaboratively with cross functional teams in a complex organization
- Experience working with Senior Leadership for both communications and planning
