ROLE OVERVIEW
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Digital Performance Marketing, the Associate Manager, Content, SEO, and Local Capability Enablement, will be accountable for driving marketing ROI by helping to enable content, SEO, and digital capabilities for the enterprise, utilizing primarily owned channels as well as sharing progress and successes with senior level stakeholders.
DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW
As part of TD’s Canadian Marketing team, the Digital, Social and Content Marketing (DSCM) team is responsible for leading our digital marketing transformation. The team carries the mandate to build the digital marketing ecosystem to enable personalized 1:1 communication at all interactions with our customers. Leveraging a best-in-class content strategy, our personalized communications will ensure TD is delivering breakthrough creative and the best, personalized and connected experience for our customers. The second goal of the group is to drive leadership in all digital marketing channels across paid, owned and earned. This means that we will strive to enable best practices in each channel, define the leading practices and beat competitive benchmarks. The primary goal of the group is to optimize the customer journey from start to finish, ultimately improving performance and driving ROI in each marketing channel for our business and channel partners.
Job Description
- Manage cross-functional Agile Pod responsible for supporting execution and delivery of SEO content on public sites, including maintaining roadmap and backlog
- Own digital local capabilities and manage relationships with vendors such as TD for Me and Yext, and identify opportunities to continue growth and adoption of these channels
- Act as Centre of Excellence to support content & SEO at an enterprise level, and identifying nuances based on specific lines of business to help teams work more efficiently and effectively
- Analyze SEO performance by leveraging disparate sources of data combined with judgment and intuition to make recommendations and drive action
- Deliver detailed and actionable insights and strategic recommendations, provide interpretation, guidance and recommendations to aid marketing decision making and drive business performance
- Partner with internal stakeholders to work collaboratively to deliver SEO strategies and campaigns leveraging digital capabilities
- Assist with relationship management of SEO and media vendor
- Provide onboarding and education on an ongoing basis to Content & SEO team to help maintain level of excellence and upskilling
- Ensure compliance with TD process and governance control requirements
- Contributes insights on performance and reporting of results for Enterprise SEO and Pod supported work
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge of Marketing best practices to provide recommendations and considerations to the team
- Stay on top of industry trends and all applicable technologies, including developments in SEO, Content, SEM, Social media, Display and online consumer behavior
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in digital marketing, with demonstrated understanding of SEO and digital content strategies
- Experience engaging in agency and vendor relationships.
- Exposure to developing scorecards, executive level reports and utilization of data for storytelling, including techniques for measuring end-to-end effectiveness across digital marketing touch points.
- Business acumen: strategic thinking, business process development, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven interpersonal and relationship management skills, with ability to obtain consensus among multiple stakeholders.
- Strong teamwork orientation and proven leadership capabilities with an ability to work effectively in a constantly changing environment, requiring ongoing re-evaluation of priorities.
- Strong impact and influencing skills with a demonstrated ability to lead large scale enterprise-wide initiatives.
- Experience with Confluence and JIRA is an asset.
- Understanding of financial product offerings would be an asset.
EDUCATION
- University or Post-Secondary education required.
- Business or Marketing Communications an asset.
