We are looking for an experienced, client-centric marketing leader to join the Toronto Blue Jays Partnerships team. Reporting to the Vice President, Partnerships, this full-time position is responsible for leading a team of high performing partnership marketers that manage the Club’s roster of corporate partners. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
– Lead and inspire a team of high performing partnership marketers that are responsible for managing the day-to-day relationships with the Club’s corporate partners.
– Coach, mentor, and develop the Partnership Marketing team and foster a spirit of teamwork and collaboration across the department.
– Build trusting relationships with senior leaders within the organization, at our corporate partners and with other stakeholders such as agencies, vendors, and consultants.
– Use data and insights to develop partnership strategies and execute integrated marketing campaigns that achieve our partner’s business objectives and help grow the Blue Jays brand.
– Collaborate with key internal stakeholders and lead cross-functional working groups to help bring our partnerships to life and enhance the experience of Blue Jays fans at Rogers Centre and across Canada.
– Work alongside the Partnership Development – Play a leadership role in the renewal of key partners.
– Identify potential internal and external commercial issues and proactively develop solutions in a collaborative fashion.
– Lead the development and refinement of internal and client-facing processes and support commercial strategies to grow the Partnerships business year over year.
– Proactively identify trends and best practices in the sports marketing/sponsorship industry to incorporate within our business.

QUALIFICATIONS:
– 8-10 years of Marketing, Strategy, Partnership, Sponsorship and/or Client Management experience.
– Post-secondary degree (Marketing and/or Business specialty preferred).
– Proven experience and success with client servicing is required.
– Experience developing and leading a team through coaching, inclusivity, and empathy.
– Strong team player. Open to perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned to deliver exceptional client experiences and support your peers on the Partnerships team.
– Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and effectively multi-task with attention to detail and sound judgment.
– Strong relationship skills required to work with top-tier clients and internal leaders.
– Critical and strategic thinker; ability to be proactive and offer solutions to clients and internal stakeholders.
– Effective budgeting and financial management skills.
– Strong and clear written and verbal communication skills.
– Strong time management skills; required to work under pressure and rise to creative challenges under tight deadlines.
– Assets we are looking for: Creative design – Hours outside of a typical workday are required to work games and events (can include evenings, weekends and holidays).
– Ability to travel to destinations across North America on occasion (up to 10%).
– Ability to work from Rogers Centre.

Summary:

The Paid Search Specialist is responsible for campaign management across media advertising platforms, including but not limited to: campaign creation, strategic approach, performance analysis, optimization, reporting, and forecasting. The Paid Search Specialist is expected to work collaboratively with a cross-functional team to deliver against the goals for the advertising campaigns and report on performance to internal stakeholders.

General Responsibilities:

Responsibilities are applicable based on the position focus/channel.

Create and launch new paid media campaigns and/or channels as needed.

Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot campaigns to performance goals.

Conduct analysis that results in actionable insights and data-driven recommendations.

Manage large monthly budgets across channels and campaigns and provide investment recommendations.

Identify, communicate, and act on opportunities and risks proactively.

Ensure campaigns follow industry and internal best practices.

Drive innovation within campaigns and channels.

Report and present performance and recommendations to stakeholders.

Collaborate across teams to test and optimize targeting, creative assets, and messaging to improve ROI.

General Qualifications:

4-year degree from an accredited institution in Marketing or equivalent discipline and/or appropriate combination of experience and education.

2+ years of experience in a digital marketing role.

Experience in the following ad platforms: Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads (including Google Ads Editor and Microsoft Advertising Editor), The Trade Desk

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).

Familiarity with Google Analytics.

Experience with managing advertising budgets of at least $50k/month.

Ability to analyze and interpret marketing data/KPIs and evaluate paid media performance.

Ability to collaborate well with a cross-functional team and communicate performance effectively with stakeholders.

Knowledge of digital advertising industry, including current trends and best practices.

Strong project and time management skills.

The following are preferred but not required: Search Ads 360, Google Data Studio, Ad copywriting, Tableau, Salesforce/MarketingCloud, Canva, Convertr.

Industry Certs: Google Ads, Google Analytics, SA 350, Microsoft Ads, and Facebook Blueprint.
