Summary:
The Paid Search Specialist is responsible for campaign management across media advertising platforms, including but not limited to: campaign creation, strategic approach, performance analysis, optimization, reporting, and forecasting. The Paid Search Specialist is expected to work collaboratively with a cross-functional team to deliver against the goals for the advertising campaigns and report on performance to internal stakeholders.
General Responsibilities:
Responsibilities are applicable based on the position focus/channel.
Create and launch new paid media campaigns and/or channels as needed.
Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot campaigns to performance goals.
Conduct analysis that results in actionable insights and data-driven recommendations.
Manage large monthly budgets across channels and campaigns and provide investment recommendations.
Identify, communicate, and act on opportunities and risks proactively.
Ensure campaigns follow industry and internal best practices.
Drive innovation within campaigns and channels.
Report and present performance and recommendations to stakeholders.
Collaborate across teams to test and optimize targeting, creative assets, and messaging to improve ROI.
General Qualifications:
4-year degree from an accredited institution in Marketing or equivalent discipline and/or appropriate combination of experience and education.
2+ years of experience in a digital marketing role.
Experience in the following ad platforms: Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads (including Google Ads Editor and Microsoft Advertising Editor), The Trade Desk
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
Familiarity with Google Analytics.
Experience with managing advertising budgets of at least $50k/month.
Ability to analyze and interpret marketing data/KPIs and evaluate paid media performance.
Ability to collaborate well with a cross-functional team and communicate performance effectively with stakeholders.
Knowledge of digital advertising industry, including current trends and best practices.
Strong project and time management skills.
The following are preferred but not required: Search Ads 360, Google Data Studio, Ad copywriting, Tableau, Salesforce/MarketingCloud, Canva, Convertr.
Industry Certs: Google Ads, Google Analytics, SA 350, Microsoft Ads, and Facebook Blueprint.
