Job description: We’re looking for a talented Digital Marketing Manager to join Inertia’s growing product development team – an experienced business-to-business (B2B) marketer who will thrive in a collaborative environment where a diverse range of complex new products are designed, engineered, and manufactured with quality and customer satisfaction always top of mind. In this role you will help tell our stories, build our brand, generate leads, and deliver an outstanding customer experience.
Who we are looking for
You have:
- Education: diploma or degree in Business, Marketing or other relevant discipline.
- Experience: minimum 6 years’ progressive experience in B2B Marketing related roles. Experience managing Communications, Public Relations or Business Development/Lead Generation is an asset.
- Demand Generation Knowledge: strong understanding of demand generation tactics and lead conversion principles with hands-on experience with digital media, including SEO, SEM, display, social, email, and affiliate channels.
- Social Media Savvy: familiarity with most current social media platforms and how to use them to effectively promote services and products to targeted audiences.
- Exceptional Written and Visual Communication Skills: must be able to create high quality brand aligned copy and imagery to reinforce Inertia’s brand and customer experience strategy and goals. Proven skills in technical writing is an asset.
- Analytical Skills: must be able to quantify and analyze campaign results and make recommendations on ways to improve or increase the success of marketing efforts.
- WordPress Knowledge: not essential but preferred as you will be responsible for website management which requires a reasonable working understanding of WordPress.
- Customer Service: outstanding customer service skills and the stories to prove it.
- Organizational Ability: you are not satisfied unless you have a place for everything and everything in its place, including your documentation.
- Meticulous Attention to Detail: you are thorough and produce high quality, accurate work.
- Ability to Prioritize: you can manage several projects at once and can balance conflicting priorities.
- Positive Attitude: an energetic and can-do attitude with ability to set realistic and attainable goals.

The Role
Reporting to the Vice President Brand and Product Strategy, the Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for:
Lead Generation & Sales Enablement:
- Co-develop account based B2B marketing strategy and deploy targeted digital campaigns to support new business development.
- Support technical sales by developing and managing a customer prospect database.
- Support Inertia’s CEO and VP Brand & Product Strategy in initiatives to drive new business.
- Identify, manage, and deploy marketing automation software to support lead generation and conversion objectives.
Website Management:
- Manage external web-site developers to design and deploy website improvements while ensuring all security and technical aspects of the website are optimized and functioning as required.
- Measure, analyze, and report on website performance and apply the insights to develop initiatives to increase lead generation and conversion.
- Manage outsourced SEO & SEM initiatives to support and advance Inertia’s brand awareness and lead generation/conversion objectives.
- Utilize marketing automation software to support lead generation and conversion objectives.
Content Marketing Strategy & Deployment:
- Develop Inertia’s content strategy and execute on some of the content creation as well.
- Manage the development and deployment of content across our website, social media, and email marketing channels.
Brand Management:
- Manage the production and deployment of branded materials to support Inertia’s brand, customer experience and lead generation goals.
- Manage the standardization of brand assets and develop a system for internal usage.
General:
- Develop and encourage strong peer relationships across functions and geographies.
- Use Inertia’s Quality Management System to guide daily work.
- Identify, recommend, and implement continuous improvement opportunities to ensure a great customer and team experience.
- Perform other relevant duties as may be assigned.

Employment Type: Full Time
Primary Work Location: Hybrid based out of our 34 Kern Road, Unit 3, Toronto, Ontario, Canada office. Must have the ability to commute to the office from time to time. Must be legally permitted to work in Canada.
Annual Salary: $100 – $124K commensurate with knowledge, skills, experience, and local market conditions.
